So I just realized how long it has been since I wrote in here.... I have been using xanga.com/wnhrepresents as a tour journal, so I havnt had much live journal need... But i figured I would come and say hello..
I am in Charlotte, NC right now at my friend Cari's house... Tonight I am playing at the milestone with Sloppy Meateaters, and ten times a day so it should be a fun show.... Last night we hung out at the penguin, and had some sweet desert at a place called cheddars... good times..

Hola.... Derek and I have been on the road for 3 days now, and this tour has been going great! We played in Tarpon Springs (tampa) on the first night... It was a great show despite the fact that on the way there we blew a tire and had to shell out 70 bucks to get a new one. We stayed at our friend Aubrey's house where a killer dog kept trying to eat me... It was whack. But in the morning Aubrey made us some stellar breakfast so I was super stoked!
The day after that was Gainesville, FL. We got into gainesville at about 3 in the afternoon and I went to pick up my old amp that I had there when I played in neptune 66. Then we headed to the mall where I walked around selling CD's and promoting the show. We stopped at the Adams Out house to see a little bit of there practice, and then headed to the Purple Porpoise. The new venue is nice... It's a really chill coffeehouse atmosphere and I really dug it. About 60-70 people came out to see Derek, Big City Dreams and I and we all had a blast. It was by far my most favorite night in Gainesville ever. After the show we went back to the Adams Out house and crashed... I was awoken by the smell of pizza and it turned out that Dylan had made fresh homemade pizza in the morning for us. It was amazing! Thanks to the boys in Adams Out for your grand hospitality!
We hit the road and headed to Tallahassee, FL where we were playing at Big Daddys. I had a bad feeling about this show, and boy was I right... not many people showed up and it wasn't much to talk about so I wont! But thank you to Hayley, Ashley and her friend, Rebecca, and her friend, Luke and the boys in Gadwell Lane and Jamie for coming out... Also big thanks to Jamie for giving us big beds to sleep in last night! Most comfortable sleep so far!
Well today we are heading to Jacksonville to do a Photo Shoot with Ian Whitlin... and I think I am getting a hair cut, so I will see all you Orlando and South FL people soon!!!!

MONDAY NOVEMBER 29th 2004 | WINTER FL TOUR BEGINS THIS FRIDAY!
Attention Florida!
As most of you have heard I moved to Orlando last month... It has been a great time and I am still working on getting settled in. But... I must fill my urges to play the music that I love, so I am leaving this Friday on a short FL tour with my good friend Derek Cruz. We will be hitting Tarpon Springs, Gainesville, Tallahassee, South Fl, and Orlando so make sure that you check out all the dates below and come to the shows in your area! These shows are going to be awesome, and we both have a lot of new material we are going to play for you!

I leave at 1 this afternoon for tour... Shirts aren't here yet... im freaking out... hopefully they come before 1! I am almost done packing, and I am really excited, because this is the first tour where everyting I am doing is for me and not another band... Every other tour was either with UZ or Glasseater, and not fully my music... This is all about the words! And FFTS!!! So it's going to be a blast!

Hey guys and dolls! That time is upon us! Words Now Heard will be departing with the boys in Fallen From The Sky TOMORROW for a 20 day extravaganza of shows!!! If you live anywhere near where we will be playing, please come out, bring your friends, print out the flyers that are on the front page and pass them out, do anything that can help us because we will need it!!!! All the confirmed dates are listed below and if you can help with the days we don't have shows that would be amazing!

So I am opening up for matt nathanson on the 18th of June... This is a pretty big thing in my book... so all my friends need to come support me.. cause im gonna need it!!!
Also... when I sliced my finger a month ago at work.... it healed up fine but last night after the show it started swelling again... which is bad, cause now i have to go prob get surgery on it....
hopefully it will be after the 18th, and hopefully it wont effect tour... but we will see where that leads...

yo... So I slept for like a lot of hours today... got home at 4 from work.. and just kind of passed out. Tomorrow is the show at PIS which I am excited for... the buzz abuot WNH has been steadily increasing down there, and shows have been amazing for me so I am really happy about any show in ft lauderdale area.
Saturday is the battle of the bands at spankys... I am judging with Brian of gimp... so it should prove to be a long interesting day/night filled with wings and beer and music... all good stuff in my book
I think tommorow night will be another crazy night at andreas house partay, but who knows, cause nothing ever turns out the way i predict it anymore...

I am tired... but Gavin Degraw is playing in an hour at sunfest.. which I would be at in 5 min.. whatever should I do? - $17? and be really happy? or sleep and be really happy? Hmm I will figure this one out...
So last night was the first of the Anti-Sessions at Red Lion.... It was really good, good turnout, lots of fun, Keith was amazing, and John Ralston (legends of rodeo) came up and played 2 songs so that was a ton of fun.
the sense of community and belonging in the room was incredibly strong... I will touch on that later...
I have decided to go see gavin, so I am heading out...

yo.... i'm going to try to make this a more common thing... the updating that is... I haven't gotten the chance to in a while but its all good, I am still alive... even though I have a 50,000 bounty on my head.
Anyways, I am excited to be playing a show tomorrow night with Keith Michaud (summer blanket). It is for a series called "The Anti Sessions" which is being sponsored by thehoneycomb.com ... It is basically an open forum for people to speak out against or for anything that they think is important... Politics, Music, Schooling, Gay Rights, Anti Semitisim, "the scene"... anything... It should be an intresting time.. and it will be a little different than just your average show.
Also I am in the process of booking 5 dates in Ohio, Pa, MI, and Il in august... so this should be interesting... I definitely need to get back out on the road, and this time with my own music. If any one knows of any booking agents looking for artists.. yell at them to sign me, because I will make them lots of money, no joke... touring 24/7 is where im going to be hopefully by next year so any help would be much appreciated!
I made a new website... the design now actually fits my freakin CD which came out what a year and a half ago? Ohh well I like brown anyway.... its da bomb, so why de-fuse it?
Anyway, I have to open tomorrow morning, so I must be hittin the hay.... i will be back though.. no need to fret...

So yea, I am updating.... rock this shit....
Yesterday afternoon I went down to the good ole CS (coral springs) and got a rocksome new haircut.... Rachel and Hannah got me ohh soo sexafied, and I feel like a new man.... hahahhaha anyways, for updates sake.....
I now work at Starbucks, its a damn cool job based on the fact that all i have to do is serve coffee and drink coffee.... good times... I am also back in FULL force with the WNH stuff, I ordered stickers and shirts yesterday, and I am still looking for people to rock with...
I am also trying to figure out if I am going to move back to orlando in fall, I dont know if I want to necessarily do that, because I have free rent down here, and my music is starting to take off again..... We shall see how that turns out soon enough.....
Ok well im going to go off and upload some pictures to the site.... maybe I will stick one on here of the new doo, if not, the internet community will get them soon enough......

So I moved back to west palm... for good... Good move on my part, got out of hell, and started WNH back up again. I see only good things in the future... I started working at Starbucks, and for the past 2 days I have been wired 24-7 its whack, but fun...
I need a band, like musicians to make a band... So yea, i hope they just magically appear because that would rock. But as we all know crap like that dosen't happen...

Okay, so 5 months is not as bad as 7 months.....
But wow does a lot happen in 5 months....
I am no longer in unsung zeros, Jason the drummer and I both left... And I left due to artistic differences, and personality conflicts, but i wont get into it... Words Now Heard is back in action, and the new music is rockin...
I actually let myself fall in love, which is something i didnt think could happen, and it almost made me crazy, but wow is pain a good thing for a singer/songwriter...
And I am going to be going back to school starting in the summer.. so this is all gravy!
I gtg though, I will be back to this thingamajig shortly

Well many months later....
I have found myself playing guitar for Unsung Zeros permantley, sweet shit... It's been very fun and the past 4 months of doing it have been a blast so lets rock that shit! (what does that mean, I dont know)
I moved to Orlando, got a job at Chik-fil-a and now we are just writing songs for the new album. Things are comming along very well. I think we are going on tour in sept with Bear vs. Shark and DKLIMB so that should be a blast, and tonight I am going to see the movie S.W.A.T. (i dont know what its about, but im guessing swat teams, and its because im damn bored)
but anyway im out, so I will write in about 7 months hahahha

Well i wrote a song yesterday, well half of one. First thing written in 4 months since i finished the album..... whatev... hopefully something will come to me.
I plan on going on tour in March for 3 weeks to the east coast and midwest by myself, so that should be fun... and everything else is gravy...

Well I realized that I never update this thing, much less look at it. So I Figured I would give it a shot. I leave tommorow(Friday) night on tour with Unsung Zeros and I can't wait. I need to get out of Fl, its too hot here and it's about to rain, I don't dig that.
I just finished my preliminary copy of the new CD "Bridges" and it is sounding really nice. This version is 7 songs jsut me and my guitar but when I get bakc home I will be pressing and releasing the real version which is 10 songs and a full band. I'm really stoked, because I got to work on this one in a real studio and not my stupid house, so it sounds professional.
I need to eat, I haven't eaten all day, so I am going to go eat now.
By the way, I am not going to write in this thing again for a really long time, im warning ya.

Well last night was the Five Cent Wish CD Release show..... God there were way too many kids there... like 325 it was insane
Starlight 61 and adams out played... they played really fun sets. Then I took the stage and did most of my stuff acoustic but played a few with Dylan and Bryant from adams out. Tripping to fall was insane... all these random kids (and a bunch of my friends) were singing along soooo loud it was great. Then The Young and the Useless played, and im was happy to see kids getting into it.. I love those guys. Then there was Nep 66 and Damsel in this Dress, who both played powerful, crowd moving sets. Soooo tight. Farzad from standstill was actually playing rhythm guitar for damsel so it sounded a lot more full. Then standstill took the stage, without jesse, weird but good, the augmiesta was singing while playing drums, and boy does that kid have some pipes.
Finally FCW put on the best show ive seen out of them in a while, they debuted a new song which i really liked and they played most of the songs off of the album. I was really happy that so many kids were there, and stayed till the end. Good shit.
Then I had to take Kim, Kelly, Vanessa, and Sofia to this kids house cause they wanted to go to some party... Well, we get there, and all the kids there knew me from somewhere or another which was mad wierd.... but the kids party it was turned out to be one of my good friends from a few years ago.. wierd shit
whatev , i got home at like 2, went to bed, woke up late for work, hah that sux, and now im going back to sleep cause I am dead tired.. I leave tomorrow morning for tour, i cant wait..
ok, I gotta make like a fetus and head out.

Whatev... just got back from seeing Shallow Hal with Sarah. Good movie, Great girl... i had a lot of fun, but I best be hittin the sack.....
